I have the spoiler too!

However, just for kicks, I disconnected the wiring to the spoiler and there still seemed to be that problem.

Just a shot in the dark here, but do you think its possible that the rear fog light bulb being out would cause that light to come on? (moot point if your fog light bulb isn't out lol)

What about the brake light in the rear window? Does that still light up? Mine doesn't, but that's becasue they used the wiring from that to light up the brake light on the spoiler. And that may be the reason the "Brake Light" warning comes up for me.

I agree, though, the noise is getting pretty annoying, but I've put up with it for a year so far. haha

Actually I dont have a light through the rear window. The previous owner tapped the left taillight to power the spoiler. I thought maybe the voltage would trigger the warning but it still went on when I disconnected the spoiler.

Hopefully when I install my new ABS unit (the old just broke), the problem would be rectified (I highly doubt it).

I know you said your tail lights work but do your brake lights?
When I had that problem I had a wrong bulb in, put the right one in and all good.
also my brake lights stayed on wouldn't shut off till I change that bulb.

Wait, could he be confusing the brake pad wear light for the brake bulb out light? they look pretty similar.

@fromzerophreak: the brake light works fine.

@ mikekey: Yeah, they do look similar. The warning I get isn't a icon though, it has the text "brake light"

You won't believe it. It should've been the first places to check but I assumed since I had no rear light by the rear window there is no problem. However, I checked in the trunk by the spot where the rear light should be, and there is a huge hole cut by the previous owner and covered it with cloth. So I'm guessing the previous owner took out the entire rear light because he got the spoiler.

Argh, now I have no idea how to fix that other than buying another rear light.
