You know your a B5 owner when it starts to rain, and you can stand in the dry and hold the remote lock button down and all the windows and sunroof close by themselves!

You also know your a B5 quattro owner when your insurance company insists on calling your car a "sports car" and want to charge premiums accordingly!

You know you're a B5 owner when you bottom out and the first thing you worry about is the fragile aluminum oil pan. You also know you're a B5 owner when even the stealership sometimes lacks parts for your car.

thats not a b5 only thing , my golf was lowered and i worried about every tar mark in the road , let alone come wintertime all those damn icebergs that fall off semi trucks...

and the arms reach remote , i had that too , try flipping the key out , it gave me almost two arm's length's distance!
