Default A4 Gives problems in Wet weather.

Hello
When I drive my car in wet weather(snow / more so rain)
I get the ESP, EPC lights, This happens when I get on the highway and switching gears (6 speed manual) Then i feel a drop off and then EPC light comes on.

When I do get to the city and i stop at a light. Sometimes there is no acceleration from the pedal at all, Car just sits and idles. Until I restart the car then the lights turn off momentarly and the car runs like normal.

I had a cracked ecu box cover, replaced brake light switch and the accelerator pedal. I also clearned the MAF using electrical cleaner. But i have pinned it down to it only happens when the weather is "WET"

Vag com pulled codes brake light switch which has been replaced 3 times recently. Usually the brake light causes the ESP and the other lights then later on the highway the EPC code follows.

Any advice?

My A4 B6 does this whenever I pressure wash the car and rinse the wheel wells.

Any advice out there?

You may be soaking the ABS sensor wiring connections.

Dumb question, but are all your inner fenders installed?

Wow thanks for leading me in that direction, I do recall this problem happened after I installed a new wheel speed sensor. I did have a crack in the ECU cover from the previous owner, but i never thought to check the abs wires in the fender. I might have not seated in properly. I do notice this happens only in really wet weather, light rain or medium rain the car abs system works fine but as soon as it gets into heavy rain i run the risk of stalling.
I will check this out after work today to see if i placed back the drivers side fender properly.

I do have the inner fenders. The car is stock. Would anybody have a Picture of what I should look for?

Thanks for the help.

Connected to the wheel wheels is a wheel speed sensor connection that leads to the top back of the fenders, It is closed off with a rubber stopper type plugin but that may be loose or letting water in
