anybody ever change out the coolant sensor in the 1.8

Has anyone ever changed out the coolant sensor for the 1.8T. I know its somewhere on the back of the motor.

I tried and I have small hands. Ended up just getting it done by my tech. For such an easy part to replace it is in the toughest spot to get at. More headaches than it's worth. Just get a tech to do it.

it wasnt very hard to swap. I used a small mirror and angled needle nose pliers. Took less then 5 minutes to swap.

Found the location within several minutes. Took me 3 hours to get the clip into the slot to keep it locked in.

break the clip out and put it in backwards...... it doesn't have to go back in from the engine side, it will retain from the firewall side too.
