B6 A4 Brake Upgrade?
Anyone have a good thought on upgrading my 2003 A4 Avants Brakes?
I would like to upgrade everything.
Calipers
Rotors
Pads
Lines
My goal is to find the most inexpensive part for each and have a better system...
Anybody know about a Porsche Brake kit that will fit?

Have you tried changing the stock pads and changing your brake fluid to RBF600? If you haven't I would suggest that you try that first as it will dramatically improve your stopping power. You should also upgrade your tires to a sticker compound as well as it is the tires that stop your car not the brakes.
If you still want to swap out the OEM brakes then if you can find a front and rear setup from a B7A4 or B6S4 that would be your best bet as they are direct bolt on to our cars and there will be no brake bias change.
If you can't find a complete setup then a B7A4 or B6S4 front setup will be more than adequate. You won't get the bling of the BBK's but you'll get just as good stopping power.
I upgraded my brakes to a A4 3.0 setup with Hawk HPS pads all around and RBF600 fluid and the car stops great.

Thanks a lot for the help.
As for now, I think I'll just go ahead and try new fluid, steel lines, and some Hawk pads.
My rotors are in good shape, so I guess i'll just wait until they go bad to do any major change.
It sounds like B6 S4 upgrade would be my best bet. The Porsche kit is just so unique, but altering the bias almost worries me.

I skip the steel lines for now as my shop advised me to do the same.
If the pedal feel isn't firm enough then you can always add the steel lines later but they told me that I didn't need them and handed mine back to me.
