So..another problem...When i crank my ignition my car idles rough, then turns off. It takes about 3 cranks until i actually get my car started. What could be the problem? My check engine is on and thats because i need a new catalytic converter.

I have a 2003 A4 3.0 Automatic.

 

This could be a whole lot of things. Whens the last time you checked the codes? Maybe you have a new one???

hold on u said check engine is on. Now you are saying it isnt on. We need to know so we can try to help.
