Hey guys n girls, im new on here I was wandering if someone can help me with my problem pls I have a Audi a4 1.9TDI Quattro, the problem is that the heating does not work on the passenger side. Becuase it has climate control both the passenger and driver can select there preffered heating temperture. However only the driver side gives hot air while the passenger remains cold even thought both settings are on "HI". Can anyone help me on what the problem may be?? thanks

Maybe your control module itself? See if you can find someone with another one to "swap" the modules for testing and that should give you an idea.

 

hey Dan1969, thanks for your comment but i dont think i can find some1 i know who has even the same car, let alone allowing me to swap it. Its so annoying this problem, half the car cold and the other half hot

 

The only other thing I could think of would be swaping the inputs on the panel, but that would require some work and probably something else might break if you do this, you could try it but unless is just a clip per side on the harness I wouldn't do it. Other than that I don't kow what else.

On the diagnostic side, when you change the temperature on the cold side does it go any colder or it just stays the same?

 

It just stays cold, which is very cold. The driver side is normal, hot and cold, but the passenegers just stays at 1 level, very cold

Probably a loose connection somewhere, next time when it comes back just lood behind the panel, maybe you'll see something.
