I am having problems at high rpm boost issues
My car is an 05 A4 Quattro 6mt with apr stage 1 and forge motor sport hybrid diverter valve. I have the valve turned 22 clicks
The low end torque feels good all the way up until about 5k to 6k is when i start feeling the boost is varying. It feels like the waste-gate is fluttering.( i can hear the turbo re spooling in this section as if boost pressure dips then comes back and dips again. the turbo sound is like "swhsss"
Only reason I said waste-gate flutter is because I owned a turbo civic before and when maxing out the waste-gate it would flutter and feel the same way.
If you know what incorrect ignition timing feels like, it feels the same way almost just not as prominent.
The second issue I am experiencing is if I am cruising lets say in 6th gear, normal driving. If I down shift to 5th or 4th while cruising, then hit the throttle to accelerate, I get the feeling of a misfire or back fire. I can on replicate this issue if I am cruising at constant speed for 1-3 minutes it will do it again if I down shift.
I have changed the plugs and oil change, cleaned my injectors(took them out and hooked up to external pump to pump acetone and sea-foam through injector and reverse pumped the injector also).
