Default Installed HIDs now have warning light

So I just got my HIDs installed, but have that stupid left & right dipped headlight warning on my display. This is because I used relay harness to connect my HIDs. I was reading some other posts that said the way to fix this is to get resistors for the OEM headlight plugs...but I can't find them. I went to the local Schuck's and Autozone and got nothing! Where can I get a resistor and do I need it for both sides or just the side that isn't connected to anything. thanks!

Thanks, but it didn't lol!

So I guess my main question is what kind of resistor do I need to get? I got a friend that can get some for me, but there's thousands of kinds of resistors!!!! A lil help would be soooo great!

I have the same problem.

It turns out that the moment we iginite aftermarket HID, it requires big draw voltage and it confuses on-board computer triggers all 3 warning lights up.

a easier way to solve this problem:
-> Always start ur hid AFTER you start the engine!!
-> Always turn your hid OFF before you shut off the engine!!

Now a lot of new aftermarket HID systems has Digital Voltage Adjuster built-in. They can receive voltage ranting from 6-16V or 6-32V and produce stable current voltage.
These new ones dont even require relay harness and will not 100% confuse on-board-computer causing any warning light or flickering dipped headlight problem.[/align]
