Hi I have a 2003 a4 estate.

All was fine yesterday, I woke up this morning and car wouldn't open with the fob or the key.

I bought a new battery for the key and that wasn't the problem.

I got home just now and opened the boot with the key and managed to put the key in ignition to open the driver door. The car started straight away so the car battery is not the problem either.

I drive the car for about 25 minutes and all was fine.

The car will still not lock with the fob or key.

Any one have any idea what it could be.

Could the rain have gotten in anywhere to cause any problems?
