Default Low Boost/Losing power in the rain

Good morning everyone,

I was searching the internets and the only thing I found that was somewhat related is this

It doesn't fit my situation a 100% though. So let me explain the issue and hopefully someone can at least point me in the right direction

Setup:
2004 A4 1.8T Tiptronic Q, Stage 1 APR tune.

Issue:
In rain/humid weather the car does not seem to be making much power. In fact I don't even hear the turbo spooling or feel the boost come on. It basically feels as if it's running in "stock" mode even though the car is set to Stage 1 (I double checked).

The car hasn't had any major work done, the latest that happened to it was a speaker wire repair by the dealer.

That's more or less what I thought but the diff is pretty drastic. It's like going from Stage 1 back to Stock tune if not worse.

Strangest thing is the fact that I don't hear the turbo spool at all.

No CEL either.

have you checked your air filter? or the pre filter it you still have it? have you done the air box mod? if so you might have gotten your air filter wet from it... either way i would check it out for wetness/ debris

good luck

I was going to say that lol..

You might be getting moisture into the air system. Also, why your turbo is not spooling up is beyond me. Must be a sensor thing for that to happen. Strange that you're not getting any warning lights.
