Default Update

Hello all, I recently had a new radiator installed. Also got new water pump timing belt pulleys etc. Got the whole kit from ECS. Found rear coolant flange on back of head was leaking found 3 more hoses blown up like a balloon ready to burst. Had a high pressure high temp flush done on cooling system instead of just flushing heater core as done in the past. I think I may have blown a few weak parts. Any how my mechanic claims to have found and fixed A coolant problems. HOWEVER, STI NO HEAT at low RPM'S. I was told there could be an air pocket trapped in heter core since its the highest point in the cooling system. Anyone ever here of bleeding the air from your coolant system. I do have a small bleeder on top of engine but its still much lower than heater core. Any help would be GREATY appreciated.

IF you indeed have steady heat at higher RPMs consistently, then you probably do in fact have air in your system. If the heat at higher RPMs is sporadic, then it's probably the core itself. Lots of DIYs in here about removing air pockets and bleeding your system.
