Default Remote Key

I changed the car battery this last Friday , drove home and left the car on garage all weekend , today i go out and the remote key would not work , it didn't closed the car or open it , so i went to replace the remote battery , still it would not work , went to dealership and told them i replaced the battery 3 days ago and the remote now didn't worked , if it had something related with it , so those idiots forgot to reprogrammed the key after changing the new car battery , so i spend 11 dollars in a new battery and maybe the other one was still good , and on top of that not even an apologize or something , nada , nothing , i usual go to the VW dealership were i live because the Audi one is far away from me around 50 KM , do all the regular maintenance there , just because i dont know any trusted shop that can do work on my Audi so i keep getting rip of by the stealership .

If your remote still doesn't work. Everytime you remove your car battery you need to reprogram your key. It's very simple to do. All you need to do is put your key in and turn it to the on position but, don't turn the engine on. And then hit the unlock button a couple of times on your key. Your key is now reprogramed. And your key should be working like it used to.
