scan tool

I have a question. This is my first audi and it's having problems lol. I have a snap-on modis ultra scan tool (very expensive unit) would this pull all the codes a VAG-COM ?

You have nothing to lose by trying it. I have a code reader that does pretty good and can reset the CEL, which is what I needed. The benefit of the VAGCOM is that you can set parameters in the ECU, something I'm not clever enough to understand.
