Just got my control valve change today,my car was ideling rough this morning all of a sudden.To all the 2.0t owners beware...cost me 3 hundred something cause my warranty is over ,let me know tell me about it.

which control valve...?

the breather or intake flap motor....?

Neither is nothing new....... its been going on since the 2.0 came out. Price sounds about right.

 

is the breather one....anyway got it take care of ...

You mean is been going on since 05.5 rite? wow ...i thought they improve it...cause my is 07
and is the 3rd year of the B7....anyway hopefully nothing will happen now.

 

They did.
There was a campaign release, and if your car was under warranty it would have been replaced for free whether you had a problem with it or not.

I'm surprised yours didn't, Or maybe it did... i dunno.

 

my bad man ,is the other one(intake flap motor)but the crankcase breather kit which i did for
the recall back then when i m still in warranty....

 

theres also a ECM software update thats supposed to go with that. If it applies. And the flap motor is somewhat a pain in the *** to do.

its buried in the back under the intake manifold.

The ECM update was also a recall / campaign but the flap motor wasn't included.
