got the cam ..follower....hpfp.. letter..... still problems.......please
ok so like many of you i have the fuel pressure p0089 codes. all that tried to fix a million times..... last time i was at the dealership... they told me the cause is the hpfp. my cam .. follower and all that stuff checks. out.. so he asked me if i wanted the pump. like 5-6 hundo.... i was like nah cuz i new the letter was comming. so got the letter took it there.... thinking ok i hope this solves my problem.. anyway i can geta new pump..... calls me n says. no its not the hpfp its the one in the tank...............ok. well u said it was the on in the engine.?.. naw i dono .. who said that............ ok.......... ummmm i can order u parts gonna b 1000........ i was like. nah ill come get it..... so i do that n pay 150 for them to check it out........ehhhhh.. so i call another audi tech place.... that i went to b4 very good seem to try to tell me exactly whats going on....he did my timming belt.... for 7 and i couldnt be happier. anyway he said for a stack he could upgrade everything.... apr. bs...... and i wa slike well i just want the problemfixed b4 this warrenty runs out. im at 115.00k....... so i did let him look at it b4 and he said that he thought it was the hpfp too. told me that in the 7 years he has had his shop he has never replaced an intank one.. he said they very rarly fail its mostly the one on top.... cuz he said he remembers checkin it out couple months ago.......can anyone help.. me on this.. the only thing i got from the dealership was a printout saying all that stuff in the warrenty was fine.. so when i need a new cam im calling audi and bitchin till they give it to me.....very fed up with audi dealership.s i think i will never goto one again....but the dealer said to me well u gotta get that fixed it can leave u i give it a week.........ehh..... ive been driving it like that for well over a year.. it only throws a code ever like 6 months.....umm im not sure whats going on cuz i get a different story everytime.... but if u throw a p0089 isnt that the one in the tank?... idk anyway my dude told me he could change the one in the tank. comp. stock. for like 290.. so idk where they get a grand i just no it wasnt happing..... i shouldnt have had to pay 150 for them to tell me what a prob i new i already had.........................man.. love audi........ hate dealerships!

umm yes he is and .. he didnt charge me 290 . he said thats how much he wanted to put in a in tank fuel pump....... and ive had this car at the dealership like 20 times for this. so im saying they shouldnt be charging me everytime they tell me its something other than what they said b4. audi tek pfft.
