Should I be concerned that the only thing he's replaced so far is the air intake flap?

Seems like maybe more things should be broken or close to being broken

Well, it's only 3 years old... I sure hope not too much will be broken on my car by the time it's 3.

When buying used especially with German cars:

1.Warranty
2.Warranty
3.Warranty
4.Certified Used

My A4 had 35k miles but was certified used. That means my 50K waranty is automaticly a 100k warranty.

My GTI had 7K miles and was certified used. That means I get my 50K warranty + 2yr 24k miles on top when that expires.

Cover your *** unless you have deep pockets. Not that they are bad cars at all but cover your ***.

Well i have an 05.5 B7 that i got brand new and now has 100,00 miles and the only thing that has gone on it was the pcv valve and i have REVO 93 on it for the last 15,000 miles or so and still going strong.
