Hello everyone. I'm also the new guy so please go easy.

My 07 A4 B7 avant diesel has the same symptom prior to losing the turbo. The symptoms are a subtle off-timing of the turbo and general weakness, a strange whirring sound, very much like a AEM cold air intake, then I lose the turbo and EM light come on.

Error codes are P0238 and 0234

Devil details: I just replaced the air solenoid for the turbo. I had the turbo replaced two months ago. The symptoms mentioned above have been the same before and after all work done!!!!!!

Is my first step to pull the DV and inspect it? I can see the turbo is new but I admit I assumed that included a new DV also? Am I wrong?
