Not that I'm in the market for one or anything (much as I'd love one, there's a reason I have a B5 A4 other than loving the car lol), but it does suck to read that there are no solid plans to import it. They were saying in the article that at the current exchange rate, the price on the thing comes in around $170,000, so even if they did bring it as-is, at that price it'd be an awfully hard sell - for one thing, an AWD Bentley Continental GT is $20,000 less and has all the speed of the RS6, and a GT Speed is only a hair more money and is even faster still. Hopefully they'll figure out a way to get the price down and bring it into the country. Even though I'll not be buying one, I'd love to have my doors blown off on the highway by one. Here's to hoping!

 

yeah... not coming over... best bet is an avant or purchasing a motor from germany and importing that for a swap... the police don't always need to know what's under your hood

 

Well that sucks. I just got an RS 6 this past weekend and was thinking a used '09 might be the replacement for it in 3 or 4 years.
