Default 75x Switched Power?

I have a '03 A4 and have been trying to find the "switched power" under the knee bolster. From others on this forum I've heard that I should be looking for something that says "75X," but I can't find it anywhere. Does anybody know if there's somewhere else I should be looking?

I'm trying find this, insert a red T-tap that's connected to my satellite receiver's cigarette lighter adapter so that my satellite receiver will shut off with the car... Any suggestions?

Many thanks.

Not exactly sure which one it is myself. Do you have a voltmeter? That would be the easiest way to see which terminal puts out 12 volts only when the car is on.

Thanks - I have a voltimeter, and I'll give it a try. I just get very tentative when messing around with the electontics. Clearly, I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing in this dept...

Thanks.

It is a terminal block with bolts on it in the area under/around the fuse box. You'll see a couple market 30 and one 75X. Loosen the bolt and add your wire. As this is a 12V circuit, ensure you add an appropriate fuse as close to this connection as possible.
