Hello,

Complete noob here... I'm looking to install a new dash for my car.
The current one looks like this:

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience upgrading their audio system...
I'd want at least:
- Bluetooth
- USB plug in
- Auxiliary input

Nice to haves would be:
- Apple CarPlay
- Android support
- Navigation system

I was talking to an audio guy and he said I'd only be able to do a single din... is it possible to rehaul the whole to get a double din?

 

Talking to a few car audio guys. I was told by all that replacing the Audi double din would be a waste of money. And I would lose most if not all features in the Audi stock system because the aftermarket stereo would have to bypass most/all features.

I’m trying to replace the factory stereo, the side clips are broken. Can’t remove stereo,does anyone have a answer on how to get it out.

 

Oh tattoo man ,I purchased aftermarket from crutchfield and they send everything even removal tools and wires to complete install of system to keep all features

 

Do you have MMI or AMI in your Audi?
