Sweet! Sometimes all you got is the homebrew tech available, I do it all the time LOL. Duct tape is my best friend.

The right kind of spray adhesive would work to hold it down, I'd use finishing nails to keep it taught. Other than that, awesome job, and I can guarantee its 10x better than anything I could make

 

haha thanks.. i bought the carpet at Home Depot and its, of course, thicker than normal speaker box carpeting which made it harder to keep on but i think it looks a lot nicer to have a little better quality carpet so it doesnt look too cheap. Since it is black carpeting you cant tell that it looks that bad also, it all kinda blends in.. Im happy with it
