Q7 ABS Module Failure, Need Replacement
I have a 2008 Q7 experiencing ABS module Failure. My technician here in Turkey tried to find a replacement but failed.
He says these abs modules could only be replaced with the same version/serail number of the unit and needs to be coded by Dealer since only they can connect to the VW servers for validation of the new unit.
Here are the Details of the car and The ABS Unit
2008 Q7 TDI 3.0 171 KW , Engine code BUG066498, VIN WAUZZZ4L78D007387
Failing Module "ESP ALLRAD MK25E1 - H30 0020/ 4L0614517G, 4L0910517G, Coding 38033, *** Nr. 03801
- Can you confirm what my technician says to me ? Is there a way to change the ABS module with any other version taken from American-Asian versions?
- In my case is it my only option to go to Auhorized delaer to validate new ABS module installation? Is there another way without coding the unit online on VW-Audi main servers?
