Warning beeps and lights will not go off, please help
Yesterday I stalled my car pulling in, not paying attention and released the clutch in first gear instead of neutral. I was distracted on the phone and decided not to restart the car and instead left it off after putting it in neutral. I came out to my car today to realize my battery was dead. I jumped the car and everything works as normal mechanically. However, now my warning signal beeps and my warning lights flash and will not stop sounding while I drive. I can no longer use the key fob to lock the car because the alarm sounds automatically after 30 seconds of exiting the car and locking it. I have reset the motion sensor in the car and that is not the problem. My trunk lock mechanism is broken and I have not been able to use the alarm for the past 6 months (my car was totaled in a rear-end accident), but have never had this beeping noise until my battery was reset. My trunk is totaled so there is no way of fixing that. I managed to reset the lock on my trunk so that my light for it is not displayed on the dash and I still get continuous beeping. Is there a way to stop this??? I have tinkered with the fuse box but every diagram I come across is different and none of them have seemed to work to disengage the warning beeps.
There are no lights on my dashboard indicating open doors or warnings.
