Today a problem occured when i turned on my car to go to lunch. When i turned the car on the rear passenger window rolled it self down. I thought this was weird so i go to roll it up and its not working. Then when i turn my car off and let it sit for a few seconds it allowed me to roll it up. Not sure what is wrong, but every time i start the car now the window rolls down.

Still need help, now when i turn off car the window wont roll up unless i use the way to roll the window up when you put the key in the door

 

Check for something in the switches on both the driver and passenger doors. A piece of debris or some conductive fluid could have been spilled into the switch at some point. You could disconnect the plug from the back or the switch on the passenger door to see if the issue goes away. If it does, there is something wrong with the switch. More than likely it's something that has mechanically gone wrong with the switch or just needs disassembled and cleaned.

 

Thank you for the input, do you think pulling a power window fuse would allow me to run my car without the window rolling down until i have the time to take a look at the switches?

 

You can give that a shot. But there may be something else (probably not an important something) on the same circuit also. Won't hurt to try though.
