Have a strange sputter for roughly a week now.the car starts fine but only until it hits 5 lbs boost then it begins to miss heavily.figured it be a crank sensor.. but after replacing it the problem still exists.. read around more online and read an artical about the wires to the coil packs drying out and cracking.. inspected them.. and they were all corroded and the old rubber was brittle.. replaced all the wired re wrapped them and was certain they the problem was gone.. but it persists... If someone could provide some insite it would be greatly appreciate...thank you..

 

Boost leak, do a leak down test and check for vacuum leaks.

 

You need to scan for codes. You could have ignition, fueling, or air-metering leaks. Use the information the car can give you to narrow it down instead of throwing parts at the cars. If suspect coil pack(s) or spark plug(s) first, based on typical fail points on these cars.
