Hey first time poster, just started browsing this website and i was wondering if anybody could be of any assistance. I have a 2000 Audi A6 2.7 quattro that was in an accident about a year ago and i iust am now starting to try and fix it up (when i got in the accident it ran just fine afterwards, all of the damage was cosmetic but it sat for over a year) and it obviously had a dead battery so i replaced it, but since then it hasnt started. When i turn the ignition it clicks like its trying to start so i thought it mightve needed new spark plugs (never replaced them on this car) so i replaced those and the fuel filter, but still no luck. It sounds like the engine is trying to turn over but it just cant. A friend of mine told me it might be the solenoid in the starter but i was wondering if i could get some input from you guys.
