I have an 08 A4 with 2.0T engine. There is a very loud whining noise when the car is idling. As soon as I accelerate the noise goes away. I popped the hood, but it was tough to pinpoint where it was coming from. I have a blow off valve spacer and no performance mods done to the car. It started recently when the weather began to get colder.
