A4 axles keeps going bad
Hopefully someone can offer some insight. I have a 2003 A4 3.0 with 120,000 miles and I'm about to replace my driver side axle for the fourth time in two years. I've replaced the passenger side once. After replacing the driver side axle 3 I replaced the motor mounts...(one was bad but I went ahead and replaced both)... thought this would fix the problem but to no avail the axle needs replaced again (less than 6 months later). They are Audi parts that I order through Audi.
I called audi to ask them what else could cause the axle to continue to need replaced and the man told me that wheel spin causes wear and tear on the axle and I need to avoid going around curves and be gentle.... REALLY?
When the axle goes bad I can tell because the front end vibrates/shakes upon acceleration. The inner cv axle boots are slinging grease and there is a slight crack that can be seen. Does anyone know what else could be causing the axle to keep going bad?
I drive my car back and forth to work... about 25 miles round trip... I don't drive at very fast speeds or spin out or anything crazy. Just a normal driver.

wikked can you help me out as well? I posted up a thread that entails the same problems. But I have a 2006 Audi A4 1.8t convertible, and I drove the car and broke my passenger axle, I replaced it and as soon as I put it in drive and drove 5mph it broke again, replaced that one and the same thing, put it in drive and broke as soon as I did. With the axle off the transmission spins fine everything seem to work fine, even putting it in drive when the tires are up, but it’s when the tires are on the ground it breaks.
also sorry to the original poster, I’ve had no luck on my thread so hoping to reach out to others to find some help.
