can the front, forward position, upper control arms be removed without dropping the strut? on first glance it looks like the bolt on the inside will not clear the inner femder. the rear position arm doesn't seem to be an issue. if any one has done it i'd like to know. thx

the front yes the rear no. you need to use 2 5/8 open ended wrenchs and be flexable. it will clear but the upper rear wont without dropping the strut. if your uppers are gone id replace then all at once cause the others will go out sooner or later.

ya that's why i asked. i have one bad rear position upper. oh well nothing is ever the easy way

well when you think about it, its just 3 bolt up top and 1 ont he bottom and 1 pinch bolt. not a hard job, just get a friend to help.

I'll get my son to help out. parts are due via UPS tuesday. thanks for the input.
