After Oil Change says half full?

I assume you mean the MMI shows the bar half way up? Provided it's reset itself to give an accurate reading, just means it's roughly 1/2 qt low. The owners manual spec of 6.6 qts is only an approximation. All depends on how long you let it drain, if the oil was hot or cold, etc as to how much actually drains out.
By the way, oil level must be checked hot. If checked cold and it appears low and you add, it'll be overfull when the oil expands from heat. Then you get a message on the MMI the level is TOO high. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I hate these things, cause more trouble than they solve. A dipstick worked just fine for 100 years.................
Just so you know, you can buy the indicator for an earlier 3.2 that still had a stick and use it. The dipstick tube is still on the engine. Just pull the black plastic plug out near the left front corner of the engine) and replace it with the indicator. There is an adjustable tool that the dealer, and some indy shops have to manually check the level btw.

No dipstick on the newer ones? Damn. Sometimes technology is not the solution. A dipstick does not LIE (unless if physically damaged of course).. Geez... I mean there's just so much FUBAR potential with underfilling and overfilling the oil on an engine. People don't realize that too much oil in the engine is just about as damaging and not enough...
I totally agree with "(they) cause more trouble than they solve, A dipstick worked just fine for 100 years....." Truer words have never been spoken.
