Hey guys, just purchased a 05 new shape A4 TDi, the rear license plate lights are always on (even when key is out and locked up etc) and when i turn the car on the lights only stay on dipped headlights, cant change it parking lights etc, i reset the ecu by taking off the negative side for 15mins and when i hooked it up again the central locking went wonky on me and wont work from the FOB (only from the doorlock itself). Just gave my mechanic a quick look at it and he said he will bring it into the garage tmrw and hook it up to the computer.

Bit of a nightmare day for me!haha, any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Apart from the mechanically the car is running 100% and i love it. Its my first german diesel as ive only had petrol japs before this
