After long drive my 1997 A4 Quattro 2.8 threw a check engine light. The code read off as my coolant temp sensor. I went in and did the job myself but the coolant cap was unscrewed causing the coolant to leak before I got the sensor back into place. The leaking was stopped and the sensor was fixed (so I thought) and I finished the job. I drove it around later that day, all seemed well. The next day I drove it and noticed that the center digital display wasnt working along with the dash and instrument cluster lights were pulsing. (dimming then getting brighter at a steady pattern.) An hour later I drove again and the pulsing continued, but every gauge is not registering. not the RPM, Speedo, Gas, nothing. I pulled over and realized that I was also bleeding coolant. I went back in and fixed the sensor but the issues with the dash continue. Any ideas?
