If you read this listing, it states that the only difference is the size of the compressor wheel. Is that true.

You cannot simply bolt these on can you. Wouldn't you need different injectors, larger intercooler ??

I know nothing about this subject, please educate me.

 

The K04 is truly a bolt up upgrade. Same exhaust manifold, same catalytic converter connection. The only difference between the two is that the K04 has a 5mm larger wheel on the intake side. There are two versions of that turbo the K04-01 and the K04-15. I can't tell from that picture which setup that is, but if you give the seller your engine code, I'm sure he can tell you if it's the right one.

What other changes are needed with this upgrade ?

 

I would upgrade the downpipes and exhaust to get better airflow too. It won't be as cheap as the turbos on Ebay, but it will help!!

 

the k04 is a bolt on like the other guy said. And i do believe the turbo 'wheel' is biger
