Gettin close to time for some new bremse...
...which means BRAKES, auf Cherr-munn. I'm riddin EBC RedStuff pads, right now. But, I'll need to swap in some new grabbers, this fall. I wanna try something else, to see if there's any quantifiable difference, but I don't wanna just eenie-meenie-miney-MOE... So, any suggestions? Please, please, PLEASE base your recommendations on personal experience, ONLY!
I've got drilled & slotted rotors all four corners, and, for what it's worth, if anybody's considering the EBC RedStuff pads, I give them two thumbs up. I felt they were more than up to the task of bringing my 3800+lb lineman to a rapid stop, without drama, everytime. I may finally swap in those S/S lines I dropped a C on, last fall, too. Pics to follow, if I do.
So, lemme hear what you've got to say about your personal Bremsbeläge...

Hello,
New to the forum, my 2004 A3 3.2lt has about 95000km on it, there's a reminder for service, and today I got a warning light on, BREMSE, and it started after three attempts. Can anyone explain please? It's something to do with brakes?
