Default noise from head unit, loose wire or speaker ????

New to the forum and have a problem I can't seem to correct.
I have a 99 A6 Avant wagon with the Bose System. Thesound isfine until I hita bump and then I will get a noise that goes away if I tap(hit) the center console. Could this be the head unit or a loose connection of some kind? It only comes from the front right hand side and really doesn't seem to be the speaker but..... Has anyone else had this problem? Remedies? Thanks for the help.

You probably have some loose clips. Check the panel on the passenger side by the glove compartment. I say take out the panel and drive without it for a while and see what happens. Just a suggestion since I'm not there to here the noise. Good luck
