Revs keep jumping

Revs keep jumping
Hi,
Have a 2004 A4 Automatic. Between 1.5 and 2 on the rev counter the revs jump a little every 5 seconds. once over 2000 revs no issue or no issue when idle.
Has anyone any idea what maybe causing this?
