Default Starting my audi

I just bought a used 2003 A6 3.0 quattro, When I start my car I hear a sound like the top end of the engine is starving for oil like a slight rattle, for a second, and then goes away, only happens when car is off for a while.Brought it to a audi service dealer, because i am still under the factory warranty ,and they claim this is common in the 3.0 , Has Any one out there has heard of this. Please respond. Thanks

Im pretty sure theres a tech bullitin stating what the dealer told you. All the 3.0l make the same noise when you do an oil change. I wouldnt be too concerned about it.
