Just installed a evolution raceworks testpipe it has relieved any restrictions that might have been cause by the old cat. But just wondering if anyone else's testpipe rubs when your moving and in a turn?

 

Test pipe shouldn't move, if it is then your whole exhaust is moving which means you might have a broken exhaust hanger. Check the mount at the bottom of the down pipe.

 

should you get a exhaust smell in your ride?

 

it shouldnt be noticable, the flanges on the testpipe or downppipe maybe leaking which might cause tht smell

Have a check engine light, bottom line.. Cat is bad have to replace.

Going to put in a test pipe from ECS tuning.com

Once i install test pipe. Will this take turn off the check engine light or
will it still be there because i installed a test pipe not a new Cat?

my engine light came on thought it was the test pipe. turned out to be a bad o2 sensor might want to have that checked.

 

the TP will throw a code. search for the anti fouler trick.
