2000 A6 2.7T Oil Change Procedure
Hi.
I am an experienced oil changer, but I've never changed oil on my 2000 A6 2.7T. I know there is a shield underneath the engine that I must remove to get at the oil drain plug and oil filter.
Is the procedure as simple as removing the shield, draining the oil, remove/replace the filter, add new oil, replace shield? Is there any kind of service reset light that I have to be concerned with? Do I need any special tools?

The belly pan removes easy with a flat head screwdriver. Quarter turns and they pop out. From then on the job is like any other car. Remove drain, remove filter, install new filter replace drain plug, fill with new oil.
