Default Hazard lights frozen

I found my 99 audi a6 c5 passenger side footwell flooded after some heavy rains.. I have a RHD vehicle.
After drying out all water.. Including comfort control module (hairdryer and electronic spray).. And also checking all connections to CCM under carpet.. I reassembled everything.
The CCM seems to be clean.. No rust or bad connections.
All systems back to normal.. ie.. Windows, alarm, central locking etc.
The problem now is key fob stopped working... But most important... Hazard lights frozen and no indicators.
Removed hazard switch and checked points on both units.. Seems OK.
Now I'm stumped... Parked car in direct sunlight.. Maybe still some damp somewhere
Can someone please advise what else I can do....?
Thanks in Anticipation
