Question TT nitrous

I have an audi tt quattro 1.8 turbo. I have a neuspeed catback exhaust a neuspeed intake and an apr chip. I was just wondering what would be the best nitrous system to get. Also what other supporting mods should i get with it.
thanks

I have heard that it is not recommended to use nitrous with a chipped car, i also have an Audi tt with apr chip and wanted to do some laughing gas . to run nitrous i believe it is best to retard the timing while a chip actually does the opposite. My 2 cents i can be wrong

well your right. nitrous is only to be used on vehicles that have no chip... or have been chipped/tuned to run it. most vehicles that have been tuned have an increase in timing which can cause nitrous backfire. not good lol.

here is a link all about the do's and dont's with a nitrous kit. basic stuff but its enough to get by.

ZEX

here is a quote from it.
"Q: Can I have a performance “chip” in my ECU while using my nitrous system?
A: Generally the answer is NO. Most performance "chips" on the market advance ignition timing to gain additional horsepower. This additional timing, when using nitrous, can cause engine damaging detonation. The only exception to this are "chips" that have been specifically programmed for nitrous use."

Back to the OP's question

nitrous kit i would go with is a wet system called the sportsmans efi from NOS. Forced induction requires alot more fuel and i wouldn't trust stock injectors for anything. a wet kit adds fuel to the nos mixture when injecting it into the intake manifold.

im going with it on my tt. but my tt is not chipped and will not be chipped.
