Unhappy help! my steering is screwed!

i recently bought a rs4 08 with only 12k miles,from a dealer and couldnt be happier..
but i have been noticing that my steering will sometimes veer to right or left if i come to a groove on the road or the road is uneven..
i took it back to the dealer and they said the alighnment was right on..
i dont trust them at this point ..now i just feel they are pissing on my head and telling me its raining..
does anyone have any insight on what it could be..?

what tires are on your car. you are saying that when you hit a groove in the road that it goes to the left and or right depending on where the groove is at.
to me taht is just that your tires are in the groove and making your car pull. and also if the srface is uneven a vehicle is going to pull to the way that the rroad is uneven at. your alignment is most likely good. some tires especially performance tires will catch a groove in the road and make it feel like the car is pulling that way

Agreed - the term for it is "tramlining." If your tire pressures all equal and correct, that's likely what you're experiencing.

i brought it to a well respected ex audi s4 and rs specialist, who has his own shop.
he took a flash light and showed me that on the driver side front shock, the whole buffer was missing..!!
why the hell audi service didnt catch that?i dont know..
so im bringing it back once again to show them.and tell them to get their heads out of their *****..
thanks for the input men..i am among a special group of fanatics..
