Default 20" Wheel Question for the B5 S4

I am wondering if anyone knows if a set of 20" Lowenhart LD1 wheels and tires (245/40ZR20 front and 255/35ZR20 rear) with a 45 offset will fit on my 2001 S4 (post-facelift)? They are 112x5 bolt pattern.

I've had problems finding rims that will fit properly with the large front brake calipers the S4 has and am wondering if these will fit?

I seriously doubt it. My 19" wheels are a 42 offset and I needed 5mm spacers for them to clear the uprights. With 235-section tires I rub the fenders when the suspension compresses. A 45 offset is too high and the width of the wheels that is needed for those tires means you'll need a fender pull or a fabricated widebody to cover them (unless you want them to poke). On top of that, 20" is just too damn big for a B5. Look at the S4 wheel gallery in the sticky posts up top and you'll see a lot of examples. I'm not sure why you're having trouble finding wheels though - there are a ton of them out there. Look for offsets in the 35-38 range for an 8" wide wheel and seriously reconsider dubs - go a little smaller and I think you'll be glad you did.

Couldn't agree more. 19s are already a little on the big side but I've gotten used to them.
