2000 S4 code P300b

2000 S4 code P300b

check eng. light came on code 300b drilled down and scanner showed misfires on cyl 1, 4, 5 changed coil pack on those still running like S.

any ideas?

icm??? maybe?? not sure which modules control which cylinders. .. maybe fuel pressure bad??

Swap ICMs, see if the misfires follow the ICM. However, if they're both bad, this test won't work

Strike two

Well replaced all 6 coils and swapped ICM and no luck still runs like S. Any more ideas?

check compression and fuel pressure.. ohm test the injectors as well..

Fixed

Thanks for the input, both ICM mods were bad I swapped out with a friend and his worked and fixed the problem.
