Brake light problem.. What am I missing?
I have a warning that my left brake light is out. Replaced the bulb and am still receiving the warning. I then switched out the 4 bulb housings and the left still does not work, but both will work when hooked up to the right side. Also checked the fuse near the dash, but it was ok and both aren't out. What am I missing here? I tried to search and couldn't find anything that has helped to this point.
Does the turn signal work on the left, cause if it doesn't it could be the ground because you said putting the left on the right side worked so it shouldn't be the wire; correct? Or did you put the bulb in the right where the fog goes? But I'm gonna go with the ground
Thanks for the quick reply. The other 3 bulbs work fine on the left side. When I put that same housing all 4 bulbs (including brake) worked on the right. When I moved the original right side to the left, only 3 bulbs worked again. Something is going on with that left side...
