turbo's is one hell of a diy. im in the process of turbos and heads as we speak and its well a pain. i didnt take pics of taking it apart but i prolly can of putting it back together, right now the heads are off and are getting ordered on moday.

 

i have done it 2 times now...its really not that bad at all...just time consuming. pretty basic if you ask me

 

I am almost convinced that I can wrench these things out and in myself. One question though...if you get ko4's, do you have to remap the computer or will they work fine on an all stock car? Just would like to have the option of having horsepower expanding capabilities....that' s not the right word is it. Anyhow, they don't decrease hp cause there is more mass in them things, no?

--Sometimes I wonder why I bought a turbo'd car, knowing that someday, I will have to spend money on a part that is known to fail every 1000,000 miles, at the cost of a year of college/a nice used car/ an engagement ring. I know...cause she's tough,smart,fast, and sexy and she's got lots of room in the trunk.

 

ummm...K04s wont die at 100k....they will last much longer if you treat them right. The do not decrease HP at all....and your car will run just fine with only the k04s. you dont need a tune to run them...you just will want it after you realize whats another 500 bucks.....
