so kind of an out there question but the other day i did the darintake with a green filter and i got everything back together and sat there at idle revving it a couple times and i noticed as i held the rpm's at around 2-3 grand if felt like the motor was unbalanced or something. it was kind of vibrating the car. if i went higher the vibrations went away.

any ideas?

 

double check all those electrical connections that cover the air filter and sensor and make sure everything is securely plugged in

 

i'll double check that but im pretty sure theyre on there good, i was thinkin maybe it had somethin to do more with bad motor mounts or something. like i said in a different post it feels like the motors going to go through the front of the car when i shift aggressively

 

oh and its got about a 100k on it so im sure its not quite to factory specs still

 

could be that too...do you see any evidence of fluid leaking from the mounts?

 

ya your mounts are probably shot. But revving it with bad mounts wont cause that kind of vibration.

 

its not a terrible vibration, the car just seems to kind of shutter
