Hopefully the FMIC will work out pretty well. I should be ordering one here in a few weeks. Pulling the engine this winter and I'm getting parts together to do everything at once. Turbos, Manifolds, Downpipes, RS4 mounts, Clutch, Intercooler, etc... and the timing belt and water pump. Just to save time pulling it out again later. The core off ebay fit on my friends S4 pretty well. Now we are going to try to get the piping bent and I'll get some pics up if it all works out.

 

I am doing some research on this item, and I am looking at just dual purging into the front of the intercooler, intead of having that ugly metal thing in the center of my FMIC, and it will be 1/3 the price.

 

Probably won't get all the effects of the Intercooler spray set up, but cheaper by far and should still get you a nice drop in boost temperature.
