You don't have to upgrade your DV's but it is something that almost anybody that chips their S4 does just being cautious. It just helps because the stock DVs aren't very good and you can buy 710N's for around $70 a pair or 007's for around $300 (new). You should also (if not done already) get a new TBB and/or APR bi-pipe (pricey.. but suggested) because our stock one is junk and tears all of the time. Also after chipping, you might consider (again, if not already done) going to "piggie" downpipes and an exhaust to help free up those turbos. If you want loud go with AWE's Twin 1 or autospeed, but if you want a little softer i believe there are some exhaust to fit that need. By this time your looking at being stage 2 [&:]
